POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Application Development leads Audigy’s Application Development team and collaborates with internal and external business partners to guide and drive the strategic technology roadmap to achieve the organization’s current and future business objectives. This position is primarily responsible for the management of Audigy’s existing tech stack as well as evaluating and implementing new technology solutions, both internally developed and externally procured, to enhance Audigy’s employee, member, and patient experiences. This position plays a central role to the enhancement and delivery of the premier experience that differentiates Audigy in the marketplace we serve.

The Work Itself

  • Works with business partners to translate desired outcomes and enhancements into tangible technology features and capabilities
  • Translates organizational goals into technology solutions, working with internal stakeholders to develop and enhance existing products/services as well as examining outside “off the shelf” offerings to future enhance Audigy’s tech stack
  • Serves as the primary point of contact from project/program inception to delivery, collaborating and interacting with technical and non-technical audiences and stakeholders along the way
  • Defines and develops project management infrastructure that includes a methodology driven quality plan - ensuring monitors, controls, and reporting are in place to protect the quality of various department and overall company deliverables
  • Manages and maintains best practices for applicable HIPAA requirements and other security protocols for relevant applications and sources of data storage (data warehouse, CRM platform, etc.)
  • Creates a culture of growth focused on where we want to be in the future by improving agility, optimizing processes, and improving time to market for the IT delivery model in addition to process documentation and duplication
  • Provides leadership and management through coaching, empowering, and facilitating teamwork for all team members
  • Recruits and develops talent pool providing challenging opportunities that enhance teammates career growth to insure adequate bench strength and succession planning
  • 5+ years of professional experience in technology
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business and/or an advanced degree (MBA, MCS) preferred
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage several concurrent projects and initiatives
  • Experience with Project Management methodologies and tools, resource planning, and forecasting
  • Enterprise application delivery, including 5+ years of information systems experience
  • Must have proven business and technology skills, with success providing customer-oriented technology solutions environment
  • Demonstrated success as a change agent leading significant transformational initiatives in organizations
  • Must be a fast-paced and solution-focused driver for results in a performance culture, but also achieve results in a collaborative manner
  • Must be an effective communicator and considered to be a developer of people who is comfortable working with a broad cross section of people in direct and matrixed relationships
