The Sales Development Representative (SDR) position is the first point of contact for the vast majority of our new business opportunities. This is a highly visible role with a meaningful impact on our team’s success.  As an SDR you will fill the role of audience expert, industry resource and facilitator of next steps. 

We are seeking multifaceted sales and marketing professionals that embrace a consultative solutions sales philosophy to establish relationships with stakeholders at key accounts.

Train under the guidance of our Director of Sales Development & Demand Generation to field inbound leads and conduct outbound calling campaigns to uncover needs, qualify interest and drive opportunities for our Sales team.

In this role you will work with marketers and project managers who will labor tirelessly to support you with smart, high performing campaigns, relevant and valuable content, well sourced always improving lead data and a deep understanding of effort vs. outcome through industry-best reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Outbound calling - 70+ outbound calls per day
  • Learn and effectively execute proven calling methodology within metrics driven environment
  • Observe very high standards for data quality and a proactive approach to developing a high performing marketing database (Salesforce.com)  
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales staff to improve campaign messaging, suggest adjustments to audience profile, data source and other processes
  • Successfully manage and overcome objections
  • Build out target accounts with decision makers and marketable contact data

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of direct sales or outbound calling experience (in B2B environment a plus)
  • Driven self starter with proven track record of reliability and results
  • Coachable with a positive attitude
  • Superior interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Flexible to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Excellent organizational, time-management and prioritization skills
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM

Compensation: 

  • Position is Full Time
  • $19-22 per hour + Commission depending on experience
  • Medical (including an HSA option), Dental and Flexible Spending Account
