Avea Solutions is a rapidly growing Healthcare technology start up. We provide revenue cycle management software for behavioral health facilities and billing companies around the country.

You should know how to: analyze problems and then solve them, roll with changes, be comfortable as policies and procedures grow and shift around you to meet the needs of our expanding business and client base, have prior operational experience or knowledge in healthcare revenue cycle management, and take the phrase “work hard, play hard” seriously.

About the Job

  • Serve as data steward for the entire organization. Sales/Marketing, IT, HR, Operations, etc.
  • Extract and analyze data to answer business questions related to marketing and profitability.
  • Work with managers to design reports that meet the needs of the company and clients, and allow accurate data to become actionable insights.
  • Recommend changes to existing processes to improve overall efficiency.
  • Develop reports or other output forms, such as Dashboards, that meet the internal and external information needs.
  • Address any data anomalies encountered in the reporting processes using sound analytical reasoning and “data forensics” to determine a strategy for solving the issue.
  • Provide assistance to the client community in their use of corporate reporting tools. This activity includes documentation on how to use reporting tools, hands-on assistance to the clients, and conducting training when required.
  • Profiles and analyzes data to make sure data is consistent with documentation/assumptions
  • Works with developer to ensure that coding reflects documented rules, and to research any questions.
  • Setting up SQL and data warehouse infrastructure in a cloud-based environment.
  • Snapshot automation.
  • Creating KPI’s to trend over time.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years relevant work experience. Fewer years of experience will be considered if experience with consumer pricing analysis is strong.
  • Analytical modeling and visualization development using a Microsoft stack (Azure / SQL Database / PowerBI).
  • Experience managing data in a compliant environment (PCI / HIPAA).
  • Reactive and predictive analysis. Ability to take historical data and generate accurate forecasts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with BI development tools.
  • Must be proficient in SQL + ETL
  • 3 years of experience capturing and documenting end-user requirements in a business intelligence reporting and analytic environment.
  • Excellent written and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Healthcare industry a plus.
