Lytics is a cross-channel customer data platform that integrates with our client's existing marketing tools. Lytics goal is to break down the marketing silos that currently exists across multiple vendors, into a single source of truth of customer data. Behavioral/predictive analytical, user segmentation, cross-channel identity resolution, trigger marketing are samples of the problems the platform team are working hard to solve at scale and in real time. So, that our customers can segment, target and/or report on terabytes of customer data in seconds. 

Platform Engineers are responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the entire data pipeline. From API servers to databases, message queues to cloud infrastructure, and all the stream processing in between. You will work to provide the backbone on which Lytics' cutting-edge features are built. 

Things We Do

• Distributed real-time stream processing of billions of events
• Indexing materialized views of data for fast ad-hoc queries
• Providing access to data through multiple APIs and systems

Things We Use

• Programming in Go
• Storage with BigTable, HBase, Cassandra, ElasticSearch
• Deployments on Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform
• Stream processing systems similar to Spark and Storm

Responsibilities

• Work with team members to design, document, and implement large-scale distributed stream processing solutions in Go
• Provide tooling and infrastructure for the customer success, integrations, and front-end teams
• Manage deployments in Google Cloud Platform

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
• One to two years back-end development experience, preferably with large scale data systems
