Amazon Mobile is looking for Software Development Engineers to deliver software solutions empowering hundreds of Amazon engineers to deliver effectively while preserving customer experience and trust. As an engineer on the Support Engineering and Release (SUPR) team you will have an open canvas and tons of opportunities to prioritize and deliver the most impactful improvements for mobile developers across Amazon and end customers. You have emerging technologies at your fingertips to solve problems inherent to mobile shopping foundations like identifying, routing, and bringing visibility to a vast array of issues across multiple shopping apps teams would love to solve quickly if only they knew about the problem. You will be a force multiplier for hundreds of Amazon engineers to help them deliver quality experiences to customers with minimal effort.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
· 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
· 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
· 4+years’ experience managing complex technology projects
· Prior experience with agile methodologies
· Experience with project delivery for large, cross-functional projects
· Experience developing Internet products and technologies
· Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master's degree in Computer Science and/or Business Administration.
· Experience with leading projects or programs delivering mobile products.
· Prior experience as a software developer.
· Ability and a track record delivering initiatives from conception through completion.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
