About the role:

IOTAS provides industry-leading smart device packages, home automation software, and property management tools to multifamily properties across the U.S. and Canada.

We are looking for a highly motivated, analytical Product Manager who’s excited by the opportunity to steer our product from high-level strategy down to individual features. You should be passionate about market research, product validation, and continuously improving our products. While you’ll ultimately take ownership of our product direction, you should enjoy working with diverse teams across engineering, operations, customer care, sales and marketing to identify new ideas, improve customer experiences, and develop overall strategies. You will report directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

• Determine and prioritize feature requirements.
• Evaluate new feature requests from customers and coworkers.
• Perform market sizing and analysis to identify new product ideas.
• Establish and track metrics of product success.
• Research customer personas, experiences, and demands, including periodically interviewing new and prospective customers.
• Produce detailed product strategies and roadmaps for both internal and external audiences.
• Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
• Work with PMO to manage engineering roadmaps and releases.
• Work closely with Sales and Biz Dev to understand product selling points and industry trends.
• Work with Engineering to design achievable, highly scaleable MVPs.
• Regularly check in with Customer Support to identify opportunities to improve customer experiences.
• Help ensure Operations, Customer Support, and Marketing teams are equipped to successfully promote and deploy new features.
• Act as a product evangelist and expert, representing IOTAS at public events, communicating with integration partners, and occasionally hopping on calls with large clients.

Must have:

• 5+ years experience in a product manager role at a tech company
• Experience managing a portfolio of products
• Proven ability to quickly become an expert at new technologies
• Attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving
• The ability to work on a wide variety of problems
• Passion for working in a great team and encouraging a culture of communication and trust

Nice to have:

• Product management experience at a company that sells both hardware and software
• Experience in real estate tech
• Experience in IoT
• Experience at a startup
• Formal education or training in engineering, computer science, or related field
