We're working on a brand new platform that will influence the daily lives of 100s of thousands of frontline workers and we're looking for a product leader to help build a world class product-led business.

The Role:

You'll take responsibility for architecting and delivering a product strategy that connects the dots from market opportunity through to adoption, behavior change and business impact. This means you'll need be a leading voice in key business design decisions from product roadmap, pricing/packaging, growth models and customer onboarding and development.

In this role you will report to the VP of Product and Engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Articulate the product vision. Pull together the stakeholder needs, the business case, the market strategy, and sales opportunities to make a disruptive market offering.
  • Work with the Marketing team and business leadership to put our product at the center of demand generation, thought leadership, and sales strategies.
  • Produce a coherent and manageable roadmap under the direction of the VP of Product and Engineering.
  • Manage the product managers.
  • Deliver the “Why” and “How” of the product vision and roadmap to all relevant stakeholders. Represent the Product with internal teams, key customers, and to the market when needed. Be the advocate for value.
  • Drive decision-making on how the “whole product” is packaged and delivered to the market. Consider price points, tiering strategies, lost leaders, and modular pricing in building a business case for the best way to win the market.
  • Market and competitor analysis. Understand the market and competitors, ensure that AskNicely is positioned in the right place in the market.

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced product leader with the ability to work closely with the various stakeholders, while keeping their eye on the big vision. The Product and Engineering teams are remote, so we need a leader who represents product every day to the other parts of the business, our executive team, and customers. Due to the VP of Product being remote, we need someone who thrives in an environment that provides a huge amount of autonomy and knows how to keep the company aligned and focused. You'll have experience in product management, be comfortable mixing tactical hands-on work with big-picture thinking, and you have experience working with customers and supporting internal teams in the go-to-market activities. You will know how to operate in a high-trust, play-to-win environment and be exceptionally comfortable with taking on the unknown, fast learning cycles, and being the first to market.

With that, you’ll also likely check most of these boxes:

  • 8+ years in Product Management, with experience in a successful Saas company.
  • Experience in high growth SaaS startup.
  • Proven track record for go to market activities and enablement throughout the business.
  • Owned all or part of a product roadmap, with a track record of delivery.
  • Confident blending technology, product, and process to create awesome experiences.
  • Be excited about the opportunity to represent the product and engineering teams to the wider business.
  • Skilled communicator and negotiator, able to simplify the complex for audiences at all levels including executive leadership, frontline teams, customers, and partners.
